University of Phoenix was founded in 1976 by Dr. John Sperling in Phoenix, Arizona. University of Phoenix is one of the nation’s largest private universities with more than 200 locations. University of Phoenix (UOPX) has 15 colleges and divisions including a School of Business, Advanced Studies, Education, Nursing, Humanities and Social Sciences. There are many programs and courses as well as certificate, continuing teacher education and individual courses for students to choose from.

Students seeking a degree in psychology can choose from several online degree programs available in their field. There are both undergraduate degrees including Associate’s of Arts with a concentration in Psychology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. Graduate programs are available including a Master’s of Science in Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Certificate programs in Business and Management, Nursing and Health Care and Technology are also available at UOPX to help students enhance their current job performance and skills. Some available graduate certificates include Accounting, Global Management, Human Resources Management, Gerontology Health Care, Nursing/Health Care Education, Marketing and Technology Management.

A technical team is also available to assist students with any technical issues they may have, even if it has nothing to do with UPOX’s software programs.
