South University - Campus
South University was initially founded as Draughon’s Practical Business College in 1899 in Savannah, Georgia. Since its inception, South University has gone from a two-year college to a university offering four-year degree programs. South University currently has eight campuses in South Carolina, Alabama, Michigan, Virginia, Georgia and Florida.

Through the College of Arts & Sciences, South University offers a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology. The program is four years in length and applicable to a number of industries. Students will study topics on psychological disorders, intrapersonal and interpersonal processes such as self-esteem and theory, about personality development, structure and more. The B.A. in Psychology is also offered online.
There are also programs available through the College of Business, College of Health Professions, College of Nursing and the School of Pharmacy. Some offerings include Medical Assisting, Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, Nursing and an accelerated pharmacy program.
South University also offers an online program through South University Online. Online undergraduate and graduate programs are available in subjects from Criminal Justice to a Master’s of Business Administration. The Campus Common is a feature specific to South University Online, where interaction between faculty and students take place through the online classroom.
South University boasts that students receive the same education through their online program as those who attend class on-campus. There are four quarters in the online program that consist of two 5 ½ -week sessions. This schedule allows students to complete their degrees on an accelerated schedule.
