Ashworth College

Ashworth College is a distance learning school accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council. Classes are only offered online. Ashworth College is a culmination of three schools formerly known as the Professional Career Development Institute, Ashworth College and James Madison High School. This allows Ashworth College to greatly expand the courses available to students. Tuition expenses are fairly reasonable at Ashworth as textbook and study materials are included in the fee.

Ashworth College also offers a program for working adults known as the FasTrack™ Learning System. It offers the ability to start relatively quickly with an initial payment that is reasonable. While enrolled in the FasTrack™ Learning System, there are no set dates for the start or end of semesters and campus attendance is not required. Master’s degrees can be earned in as little as one year.

Degrees are available both in the undergraduate as well as graduate level. There is also a Psychology Undergraduate Certificate program available, made up of 5 courses of 3 credit hours each. The certification program allows students to tailor their education towards an area of specialization. Credits earned in the certification program can be transferred towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree at Ashworth. There is an Associate’s Degree program in Psychology available to undergraduates, consisting of 20 comprehensive courses.

Currently there are no graduate Psychology programs available at Ashworth. However, a Career Diploma in Sports Psychology for Peak Performance is available. This is beneficial for individuals seeking work as coaches, trainers, exercise and fitness instructors and recreation directors. It is also beneficial for athletes looking to push themselves into peak performance levels.

Support is available to students pursuing degrees at Ashford College. Live orientations are available on a weekly basis and a team of student advisors assist students throughout their degree process. Advisors are readily accessible through several mediums including phone, e-mail and online through various social networking forums.
