Argosy University was formed in 2001 with the merging of three institutions including the American School of Professional Psychology, The University of Sarasota and the Medical Institute of Minnesota. Argosy University currently consists of four colleges within 19 campus locations in the U.S. Online degree programs are also offered through their Phoenix campus.

The Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology degree is offered at all of Argosy’s campuses. Argosy has been assisting students wanting to pursue degrees in Psychology for more than 30 years. Graduate degree programs are available as well as Doctor of Psychology programs through the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences. There are also programs available through their American School of Professional Psychology.
Doctorate programs allow students to combine training, theory, practice and research which provide them with the skills necessary of a clinician. There are also psychology courses available online for students needing more flexibility.
For individuals seeking an Applied Psychology degree, Argosy University has many options to choose from. Some of the many offerings are Clinical Psychology, Clinical Psychology/ Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, and Forensic Psychology. Argosy University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and belongs to the North Central Association. They maintain program accreditations in Psychology, Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, and Master’s of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Community Counseling.
